The 99 Club

Why do the critics consistently choose us, even though we're not the largest comedy chain? It's simple: we provide the best live comedians working today at friendly and well-run London comedy clubs.

Currently all 99 Club venues are located near major London transport hubs, so visitors from both inside and outside London should find them easily accessible.

Our 3 Leicester Square comedy clubs are a ten minute walk from London Charing Cross station and less than two minutes walk from Leicester Square Tube.  Leicester Square Tube itself is just a few tube stops from many of the mainline stations, in particular London Victoria,  London Bridge, London Waterloo. London Liverpool Street, London Euston and London King's Cross (or one tube stop from Charing Cross/Embankment if you prefer not to walk).

Our saturday Pick & Mix club - featuring the very best in sketch and character comedy - is equidistant between Bond Street and Baker Street tube and close to Marylebone mainline station.  Our Islington Saturday comedy club is just seconds away from Angel tube and our Islington Wednesday venue is a five minute walk from Angel Tube.  Angel tube itself is a short hop from London Bridge mainline station for those coming to London from the South, or one stop from London King's Cross for those coming to London from the North.  Other mainline stations two to three tube stops from Angel are Old Street, Euston, Farringdon and Liverpool Street (useful for those coming from Essex and the East of London).

I was introduced to comedy clubs when I moved to London as a student, they were (and still are!) a fail safe way of having an inexpensive, great night out no matter how many people you're with or what day of the week. The London comedy scene is so diverse, it gives audiences the chance to see some of the very best live comedy on offer anywhere in the world, whether that be from comedians that are already household names, comedy circuit veterans or up-and-coming new talent. London comedy clubs, like the 99 Club, offer everyone the opportunity to see a wide range of comedians, in different venues with different size audiences so the dynamics always vary and are a wonderful and unique part of London nightlife.
